The Charles Russell Freedom
of Information team has experience of advising
both public authorities and private organisations
on all aspects of Freedom of Information law and practice.
For example, we have advised public authorities on
the implications of the exemptions under the Act.
We have also advised private sector service providers
on the impact of the Act on confidentiality obligations
in contracts with their public sector customers.
Members of the team have provided seminars and training
on the Act for clients from both public and private
sector. Our dispute resolution team are also happy
to advise on complaints arising from unfulfilled requests
for information.
