The decision to develop a CSR programme for the Practice derives directly from our 2005/2006 Staff Survey and from our Staff feedback. I have no doubt that the Partners' response in taking up this message to move the initiative forward is timely and right. We recognise that community responsibility, whether it be in response to environmental challenges or to the needs of the disadvantaged, cannot be left to individuals alone. Business should play both an active part and facilitate individual contributions, and we intend to do just this. The CSR policies which appear here move us further in the right direction, and I hope it will lead to enthusiastic commitment from many of us.
