Acted for the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry Commercial Education Trust (LCCICET) on its reverse take-over of AIM listed Goal Plc in December 2002. The London Chamber sold its examinations business for a consideration of 49.5% of the enlarged issue share capital of Goal plc.
Acted for 3DM Worldwide Plc (a company involved in the acquisition and development of intellectual property) on its admission to AIM in October 2002.
Acted for Techmarine International Plc (a provider of independent ship management services to the marine geographical or seismic industry) on the admission of the company's shares to AIM in August 2002.
Acted for Canaccord Capital (Europe) Ltd and Nabarro Wells & Co Ltd (brokers) in the IPO of First Calgary Petroleums Ltd (an oil and gas exploration company) on AIM in July 2002 which raised approximately $25 million for the company. At the placing price the company was valued at £60 million on admission.
Acted for Canaccord Capital (Europe) Limited (brokers) in the first joint IPO on AIM and the Toronto Stock Exchange of YM BioSciences Inc. (a biopharmaceutical company) in May 2002.

Acted for Canaccord Capital (Europe) Limited in a placing to raise £9million for Australian and AIM listed oil and gas company Hardman Resources Limited in March 2002.

Acted for Pennant International Group plc (a training services and software provider) on its AIM flotation in 1998, a placing and open offer in 2000 and in March 2002 a further placing and open offer to raise an additional £2 million.
Represented Williams de Broë plc (brokers) in respect of a placing to raise £2 million and admission to AIM of Campus Media plc (a provider of radio programming) in February 2002. At the placing price the company was valued at £5.3 million on admission.
