Gagandeep qualified in September 2005 after completing her 2 year training contract at Charles Russell. As part of her training contract, she spent a year within the Employment & Pensions Service Group specialising in employment issues.
Gagandeep primarily advises corporate clients on all aspects of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious, and has gained considerable experience in drafting and advising on a variety of employment documentation. Gagandeep's experience includes dealing with the employment aspects of large transactions and restructurings, regularly conducting Employment Tribunal litigation and engaging in commercial settlement negotiations in order to resolve disputes cost effectively.
She regularly advises clients on practical HR issues focussing on the commercial needs of the client, in areas such as policies and contracts, redundancy, discrimination, grievances and dismissals. Gagandeep has spent time on secondment with Cable & Wireless and Atos Origin, in their in-house legal teams, and is also a member of the immigration team at Charles Russell.
