Mike is an employment partner at Charles Russell and is the man behind the Design Contracts concept. He developed the idea from his knowledge and expertise gained as a leading adviser to a large number of creative business clients. His employment work is very much geared towards prevention of claims. For example, in 2004, Mike won a prestigious UK legal industry award in relation to "Manage the Risk", an innovative new service offering training, employment audits and help lines to prevent claims across all sectors. His employment expertise has also been recognised by his appointment as a visiting lecturer to the College of Law. The main legal directories, the Legal 500 and Chambers 2005 both mark him out as a leading adviser in the employment arena.
