Our planning team has broad and in depth experience. Our work with and for local authorities means we have a full understanding of how best to use the system.

Clients include developers of large strategic sites, housebuilders, minerals and waste operators, private individuals objecting to developments, large operators (for example telecommunications) charitable and educational institutions.

We advise through all stages of the planning process: strategic and local plan work, applications, appeals, enforcement, High Court challenges.

In addition to "pure" planning we have significant experience in compulsory purchase matters right through to Lands Tribunal compensation claims. We advise on footpath matters (for example Diversion Orders), highways and drainage issues.

In addition to project managing large inquiries and instructing Counsel and expert witnesses, we carry out advocacy at public inquiries and can represent clients at informal hearings.
